Rehovot
Rehovot is a town situated in central Israel.
The town is named after Genesis 26:22. Rehovot, literally means wide expanses.
It was founded by Polish Jews who wanted an independent town from Baron Edmund de Rithschild’s management in 1890. Immigrants coming from Yemen joined its early settlers in 1906.
Its people worked very hard in tilling the land making it agriculturally productive.
