Rehovot demography
At present, 99.8% of the ethnic make up of its people are Jewish.
The population of Rehovot is evenly distributed among all age ranges. Thirty one percent of the population belongs to ages 19 years old or younger.
Most of its people are salaried workers while the rest are self-employed. Schools are also given attention by its government; in fact, there are 53 primary and secondary schools in the city. Aside from the famous Weizmann Institute of Science and Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Rehovot has other College Schools that provide technical training to students. Kaplan Hospital is also used as an ancillary teaching hospital for the medical school of Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
